John Hand

John has over 20 years experience in the Research Councils, with the Science and Engineering Research Council and the the Engineering and Physical Research Council. John has been the Head of Digital Economy since November 07, prior to which he was head of the ICT Programme and previously Head of the Healthcare, Retail and Financial Services Sector teams. The Digital Economy Programme is an RCUK cross council programme and funds research and training aimed at realising the transformational capability of ICT. The DE Programme plans to commit £103M of funds over the next three years.
