Dan Appelquist

Daniel K. Appelquist is a technology strategist at Vodafone Group Research & Development where he focuses on mobile Web and mobile Internet topics. He co-chairs the W3C Mobile Web Best Practices working group in the Mobile Web Initiative and he was part of the team that created dotMobi. His current focus is on the future of mobile Web technologies and user experience. He founded Mobile Monday London and the Mobile 2.0 series of conferences and he has recently been co-organizer of the ‘Over the Air’, mobile developer event with the BBC and Imperial. In addition, he is a co-author of the recently-published book “The Mobile Internet for Dummies.”
